Setting-up the Tenancy

We will provide any or all of the list below as appropiate for your property:

  • Advertise the property
  • Make a copy of the EPC available to prospective tenants
  • Accompany all viewings
  • Obtain credit check and references for prospective tenants
  • Report to you on suitable applicants
  • Arrange preparation of a tenancy agreement
  • Check certification of gas appliances*
  • Ensure tenancy agreement is signed by all parties
  • Collect advance rental payments
  • Collect deposit and forward it, on your behalf, to the Deposit Protection Service 
  • Advise local authority and service providers of a change of occupant
  • Provide payment and contact details to tenant(s)
  • Arrange for signing of inventory (if used) and handing over of keys

Just Lets is a member of the Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP) and able to provide Inventory, Check-in and Check-out services for your property. This service is included in our Full Management Service.
